"Creation has to do with the need to share, to love and to be loved, to clarify the thousands of questions that assail us every day, to open the doors to the secret of life and to live in its mystery. To navigate, in short, towards a port of white sparrows. I invite you to this trip ".

Santiago

Santiago de la Quintana (Madrid, 1959) has dedicated his time to two major arts: dance and painting.

The path that led him to be an international figure and today a classical ballet teacher does not differ from the one he has traveled to become a self-taught painter. That path has as destiny the freedom to create. It is full of emotions. It is paved stone by stone with discipline, sincerity and effort. And de la Quintana is still moved by the love of art, which is life.

In three decades of work dotted with individual and collective exhibitions, a forest of drawings, paintings, sculptures, illustrations, costume designs and stage designs for dance shows has grown along the way. But fullness is not to have been, but to be being, and you will not find the artist lost in that grove. His work is his speech, and he is falling behind. He knows how to move on, watching quiet stones, lights and beings, branches and leaves of living forests that will sprout in his soul and his brushes.
